1. Litter on the estate (number 3 issue on the resident’s survey of 2017 not an issue in 2018) – We have set up litter picking days. click here for more information.
  2. Gardening we have numerous gardening equipment and carry out gardening projects on the estate click here for more information.
  3. Estate Maintenance, we have contacted both Crest Nicholson and Barratts numerous times about issues of estate maintenance and are somewhat disappointed with the speed of response and the quality of the work. They have both started the process of handing over the maintenance of the estate to Premier Estates. We are endeavouring to engage with Premier Estates to ensure that residents feedback is part of the process. This is actually requested in a document given to Crest Nicholson residents.
  4. Estate Charges from Premier Estates have led to some residents refusing to pay.  Confusion on these bills is partially caused because of the way the bills are laid out. They show the accounts for the whole estate including apartments and houses. Private apartment residents pay more than house residents since stairways, halls and common areas have to be lit and cleaned. Knightstone residents charges are included in the rent, Knightstone pays Premier on residents behalf. The quality of work which is also a cause of resentment in regard to this payment we hope to tackle in the medium term under item 3.
